Poison/Candy Buzz Box Loan Program

photo of buzz box

The purpose of the buzz box is to show that candy and poison (including medication) look similar in color, size, and shape. Often this interactive display gets people thinking about how easy it is to get candy and poison confused, especially by a child.

The objective is to choose between the candy and the poison without knowing what the name of each item is. This set-up mimics a real-life situation where an individual finds pills on the floor, on the kitchen counter, or in the backseat of a car.
