Health and beauty products are designed to make us look better, smell better, and feel better, but they can be poisonous. Cosmetics and other personal care items range in toxicity. Some have little to no effect on the body like lipstick while others are a clear danger like perfumes. Perfumes, aftershaves, colognes and mouthwash all contain alcohol. Alcohol is not meant to be ingested by children. It can cause serious illness and even death.
